Welcome to Flight Check. By accessing or using flightcheck.live (“the Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. About Flight Check
Flight Check provides flight delay data, TSA wait time estimates, airline on-time statistics, and related travel information tools. Data is sourced from publicly available government datasets (BTS, DOT, FAA, NOAA, TSA) and is provided for informational purposes only. Flight Check is not affiliated with the FAA, TSA, or any airline.
2. Accuracy of Information
Flight data, delay predictions, TSA wait times, and all other information on the Site are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. Flight Check makes no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information. Do not rely solely on Flight Check data when making travel decisions. Always verify your flight status directly with your airline.
3. User Accounts
You may create a free account using your email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that are used for abusive, fraudulent, or illegal purposes.
4. Flight Briefings
Free flight briefings are delivered by email on the day of your flight. Paid briefings (Trip Briefing, Deluxe Briefing) are delivered according to the schedule described at the time of purchase. We will make reasonable efforts to deliver briefings on time, but cannot guarantee delivery due to factors outside our control (email spam filters, server issues, data outages). No refund is owed if a briefing is delayed by less than 2 hours.
Paid briefings are non-refundable once delivered. If a briefing is not delivered at all, contact us for a full refund.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose.
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically download Site content without permission.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its infrastructure.
- Use automated tools to generate fake accounts or spam the briefing system.
- Interfere with the Site’s operation or other users’ access.
6. Intellectual Property
The Flight Check name, logo, and original content (editorial text, UI design, code) are owned by Flight Check. Government data displayed on the Site (BTS, DOT, FAA, NOAA, TSA) is in the public domain. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Flight Check’s original content without written permission.
7. Advertising
The Site displays advertisements served by Google AdSense and may display other third-party ads. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements. Clicking on an ad may take you to a third-party site governed by its own terms and privacy policy.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SITE AND ALL INFORMATION, TOOLS, AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. FLIGHT CHECK DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FLIGHT CHECK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE, INCLUDING MISSED FLIGHTS, TRAVEL DISRUPTIONS, OR RELIANCE ON INACCURATE DATA.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised “last updated” date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles.
